Good sir, I was just about to venture in here for the first time to pose this very question you answered but about Berserk.

Back in the day, Ninja Scroll, Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D were my shyt. I couldn't get into any of the kiddy shyt with the big ass eyes and underage looking school girl shyts. I discovered Berserk through netflix a couple years ago and Basilisk randomly last year. Also that Gantz 3d thing on Netflix.

I dont watch anime often but when I do, it's gotta be adult themes and ignorantly violent woven around a relatively dark but intriguing story. I'll check out the other two you listed. Any other suggestions? Thanks

I don't even think Anno wants to finish it...He talked about being burned out after the 3rd movie and it being a reason he didn't work on it for like five years

I haven't watched this series in forever and never quite finished it, I remember it being straight piff though. It was fukked up seeing Battousai the gawd slip to status towards the end. Didn't he die of old age or something at the end of the series? Where would this new series take off from?

That shyt was dope as fukk and pretty hardcore..... like a prime time Tommy Dreamer vs Raven match.

It actually tells the story of the events before the Netflix movie. It's ashamed they didn't continue it's storyline
