Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

Yeah at the very end, massive cliffhanger. Recently started reading the manga for the rest of the story

Last I checked the Blu ray sold poorly so I wouldn't expect a continuation

The true objective of most of these shows it to be commercials for the source material anyway so it was at least that.

Noooo . File it under the one season greats (imo ) along with Devil is a Part-Timer

The ones that burn me the most are Bamboo Blade, No Game No Life, White Album 2, Skip Beat, and Chrome Shelled Regios. For a bit there was actual talk of continuing Skip Beat but it never happened. NGNL is getting a movie at least. Also if Chihayafuru doesn't get a 3rd season that's a crime.

Is it me or does the ending theme for Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2/Attack On Titans sound extremely disturbing with that weird voice and them middle ages type paintings. Berserk also has a disturbing theme that plays during the next episode preview.

Re:Creators is good. I can see the Fate/Zero in it. It is to Fate/Zero what Kabaneri was to Attack on Titan.

You hit that on the nail especially for AoT. Everytime the ending theme plays I let it ride out so I can try to figure out what about it sounds creepy. Its those chords, voices, and paintings. That aura....

The titans in the painting look frightening comparing to the ones depicted in the animation and Manga. I think that's what makes it even more foreboding. Someone like me who hasn't read the manga, I have no idea what's next...and based on the music, I have no idea which direction it's headed...and I can appreciate that

After years of debating, I finally binged on Berserk. Watched the OG 97 series, peeped the last movie and I'm pretty much caught up with the new season. Hands down the darkest anime I've seen yet...

Current Berserk anime is brill the only thing that ruins it for me is the CGI, they should have gone the drifters route. Berserk is extremely dark people in that universe are crazy, the humans are just as bad as the monsters/demons. The only normal individuals that I've seen so far in this Arc is that Arab Silat. I'm gonna go off-topic here but I wonder how father Anderson from Hellsing would survive the Beserk universe? I can see him enforcing roman catholicism on the citizens he'll most kill witches, monsters, demons and the heretics with no hesitation.

I feel you on the whole CGI thing. Doesn't bother me too much since the OG animation wasn't that great to begin with. However, I dont know too much about Father Andersen but he'd prolly move the same way Mozgus does

That ending was just too epic. I may have to look into reading the manga. Im still marinating on that ending till this day breh. Too many questions to ask

Guts ain't no where near his level still, he's got a long way to go. Berserk does a good job avoiding random power ups that don't make logical sense.
