Finally got around to watch akira.. It a classic and I see why now. The animation back in the day really surprised me. Overall it was a good movie.

IBO was leaving me with manly tears brehs It's always an adjustment when you have a anime where the writers are like fukk it let's kill well liked main characters.

The whole goddamn anime there were so many moments, fukk you sunrise

They only wanted to be recognized and live a peaceful life

The villain won or rather the antagonist did. I guess the actual villains were the protagonist here but even that is questionable. The way it ended for Mika was pretty sad. bytch you didn't take the devil's head you leaned on a dying tree and it fell over.

I can't in goof faith put this above MSG, Unicorn, 00, Seed, or Wing. If you add Destiny to Seed and consider them one yeah but MSG, Wing, 00, and Unicorn are all way better. When I count MSG I'm going with the movie version cause I never watched the full series.

Mika is the goat Heero clone though and McGillis is the best Char clone as well.

Unicorn is GOAT OST in any Gundam IMO but to much content from the LN was not made into those OVAs, but i dislike SEED and Destiny... 00 was alright but it kinda got boring after lock on died. and if you want to count GBF and GBFT they are great side shows for long time fans of gundam that want to see something Lighthearted

The first season of IBO was trash. There was so much downtime with no battles in those middle episodes and the show always aspired to be something deeper than it was. The second season was better by far but at the same time felt somewhat aimless. It felt like they just made it to make it rather than having a necessary story to tell.

One of the best endings in a Gundam show doesn't save this entire series from it's constant ups and downs of uneven quality especially in the first season.

Didn't feel like a sad ending. Their deaths helped to inspire change in the world, child slavery is abolished and democracy established. In a sense you can call Rustal the "good guy"
