Lord...are you serious? You know that the Earth is a globe floating in space where there is no "up", "down", "left" or "right"? It's "upside down" in regards to the map you're used to, that's it, but that's nothing more than a convention.

Are we talking about what the Europeans did.. made the continent it's territory and divided up each area into nations creating the situation we see today... causing then to not control their resources, not be connected w American blacks etc????

Muslims colonized Europe.. per the definition of colonization.
Persians took asia.

I think the effects we are referring to happened during Modern Colonization. There was China and Tibet. And there was Europe and Americas and Africa..

In Africa.. It would be different because 1500-1900 changes everything about the continent.
