facial features and haplogroup, all of which arabs do not share, that is what everyone have been saying. :laff:

Arabs fall under group J, they have their own haplogroup meanwhile greeks, russians, portuguese all under the R group. what the hell are you doing man. :mjlolz:

I'm going to ask you again: what makes a redheaded, freckled Irishman the same as a blonde, blue-eyed Swede? They are in different haplogroups and differ in phenotypes

But I didn't do the white man's bidding because the Arab Gulf states also wanted to Hussain gone? By your definition they are not white. Is that correct?

Trust me, I know you think you're in some way bothering me about my time over there, but you aren't. It hurt your feelings when I say that you are in here :cape: for Arabs because you secretly worship them.

Breh you're the one taking personal shots and bringing religion into it when we were just having a discussion, I'm simply demonstrating that I can do the same thing.

Disagreeing with your blanket statement "Arabs are white people" is not :cape: for Arabs.

I made it clear that many people who are considered to be Arabs today can indeed be considered to be "white," in a rough sense of the term but the great majority of Arabs are NOT WHITE. You haven't done anything to disprove that aside from posting a picture of a light skinned Arab guy and saying that some Arab students in your class have white skin....Okayyyy, and.....so what?

Ok, I didn't mean to get personal but I guess I did. I just find it weird that in these discussions, the people on the other side by far happened to be non-Arab Muslims. I apologize for going that route, it was uncalled for.

Swag hit it right, it's a matter of subjective interpretation. To me they are white, to you they are not.

To you they are white, to MOST they are not.

But OK, we've finally established that you're only stating your opinion. That's fine with me, but I obviously disagree.

I can rock with what you're saying so long as you maintain that its your opinion and not a fact.

so, is everybody with dark brown skin black? :patrice: where we going with this?

When dealing with race, it is subjective in nature. I think we have all shown that. So it is my opinion, just like it is yours.

Nice try but I don't think you know how haplogroups work, nor did you read your own link. I-M253 is a sub group.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haplogroup_I-M170_(Y-DNA)

Haplogroup I-M170 is predominantly a European haplogroup and it is considered as the only native European Haplogroup.

So to answer your question, this is what makes them the same. Arabs are not apart of this group. :laff:

I didn't say Arabs are European friend. I've been saying that since the start. I was pointing out that the Irish and Nordic people are from different haplogroups (you pointed out R) so it seems you ignored my original question.

Friend, Im in a STEM degree with many Arab students and a handful of Arab professors. They have white skin. I see it everyday. I have darker skin than a lot of them and I'm white.

Did you not read my earlier post. I'm not saying that most of the MODERN people that identify as Arab are not "white". They are, at least in terms of the cultural norms of race in America. What we're arguing is that the ORIGINAL Arabs, the true ethnic Arabs, DID NOT LOOK LIKE THESE PEOPLE.

Its been widely documented that MOST modern day Arabs are people who ancestors were ARABIZED culturally with the spread of Islam. They are not ETHNICALLY Arab in the sense that they descended from the peoples of Arabia who originated the Arabic language. Those people were DEFINITELY not white. They may not have been black either. But they were definitely more closesly related to black Africans than white Europeans. That is a fact.

That's ok friend, I live in modern times and my original post was referring to Arabs in modern time since it was referencing a future event.

No, they are a part of the same group, You posted the subgroup of I-M170, I posted IM170 to show you that in fact they are a part of the same group.

R1 is the singular nucleus, meaning the very first common ancestor of ALL white people. Whom the arabs do not share.

I gotta bounce, but I'm just going to leave this map on human migration here. All scientists agree that the R1 nucleus is the 'godfather' of white/caucasian people, the originator....note.....that guy never walked anywhere near Saudi Arabia. k I'm out.

Great answer.

Do you still think they should be considered that even though they are clear differences?

No. I think everyone should be simply human. However, I'm not going to transform societal norms now just so it suits me. White people love to turn certain groups from black to white when it suits their racist ideologies.

The best example being the Ancient Egyptians. All throughout history, Europeans (specifically the Ancient Greeks and Romans) considered the peoples of Ancient Egypt to be black. They wrote that they had black skin and woolly hair, and were most closely related to the people of Ethiopia (which literally translated to Land of the Burnt Faces). Then in the 1800s with the rise of white supremacy, Europeans transformed the Ancient Egyptians from black to a race of dark skinned whites. Why? Because the ideology of white supremacy and black inferiority could not work if the first true great Ancient civilization than inspired Western civilization was made by BLACK PEOPLE.

Here is a TRUE Egyptian breaking it down:

Same is true about the Moors. All ancient European sources during the time the Moors controlled Europe described them as black, now because white supremacy can't work if it was BLACK PEOPLE that brought modern civilization to Europe, they have been transformed into Arabs, who according to you are white. So once again the ideology of white supremacy is saved by turning people you called black at the time into white now.

I don't believe in race as some real thing. And I don't like it. I think the world would be better if we simply thought of ourselves as ONE RACE. The human race. However, what I will not do is go along with the bullshyt you cacs try to play. If nikkas was black 1,000 years ago when they were teaching you civilization, then they are black now. You just can't change them into white now just to sooth your racist mind.

Does anyone agree that the domestication of the HORSE in 3500bc in Eurasia and South Africa HELPED in the concept of people getting to the Nile?
Which in turn sparked a colonization effort bc Nile was the place to be?

Africa
3500BC - 2500BC

Northern Africa has continued to get dryer, and the Sahara desert has reached roughly its present size. Farming communities now fringe its northern flank, and in the valley of the Nile, the great civilization of Ancient Egypt has emerged. To its south farming has also spread to Nubia, reaching the southern limits for agriculture based on wheat and barley.

To the south of the Sahara, the cattle-herding populations are now ranged over a vast swathe of territory, stretching from modern-day Sudan into West Africa. On the rest of the continent live hunter-gatherer peoples and fishermen, mostly related to today’s Pygmies or San Bushmen.
