If fetuses are to be protected at conception, then sperm and eggs should be protected as well.

Men who bust nuts in napkins should be prosecuted

Then what about women who miscarry? Should they be prosecuted?

What about a twin who consumes his sibling to survive? She he be prosecuted upon birth?

The government should stay out of people's biology. It's a woman's choice when/how a fetus enters her womb, so it should be her choice when/how it comes out of her womb.
