- We've noted how WWE officials, mainly Vince McMahon, went back and forth on the finish for Ryback vs. CM Punk at Hell In a Cell.

The original plan was for Ryback to win the WWE Title clean in the middle of the ring, hold it through Survivor Series and then drop it at TLC in a multi-man match where he wouldn't be pinned or submitted. This was the plan through October 25th, the Thursday before the pay-per-view. The next day, Vince changed his mind and concluded that of the two, Punk's streak was the one that had been hammered home on TV and keeping that streak alive would only help business through WrestleMania season. Vince noted that while it had been mentioned on TV that Ryback was undefeated, it wasn't central to the storyline.

One WWE source close to creative was amazed that Vince made up his mind on the finish on October 26th and three straight days went by without him changing his mind.

Once they decided to have Ryback lose, many ideas were discussed on how to make that happen. They eventually settled on the Brad Maddox finish but had discussed run-ins by Big Show, Maven, Brock Lesnar, Mark Henry, Scott Steiner, Vince himself and others.

A Maven return would probably result in the biggest markout moment I'd have this year.

Vince needs to step down.

Heyman needs to take control of the booking...

In order for Heyman to take control of creative, which most people have been hoping for, including me, Vince needs to toss Steph in the bushes because she's in charge of creative. And that shyt ain't happening; not as long as Vince or Trips is breathing.

Uncertain grounds
Lol maven and steiner? Nice touch.

If steiner actually did come out and was in a stable with heyman feuding vs ryback???:krs::win::deadrose::krs::krs: ...at the very least. I think a steiner run in and main event push would collapse the universe

ever since Shane left.
They have no grasp on what the web is or should be used for.
Evident in the burial of the only guy to use the web accurately since Shane left in Ryder.

It was a disservice to simp out ryder's character to eve.
Plus allow him no get back or comeuppance to Kane.

Ryder should have never been buried like that.
Which also shows they have no idea what works in the online environment.

Art Barr

But of course they rejected it mainly cause of what happened with Matt Hardy blowing up (pun intended, and the situation was something they didn't create) on the net and the "dirtsheets" they stupidly caught feelings over everything said on the net and stupidly thought "well it's just the net, people will still mainly watch tv, or no body's getting over via the net until WE want them to" basically some shyt they couldn't and still can't control... pretty much

Funny about that Cranky Vince tweet about someone's asking for their release...... and what ever came of the other twitter account they successfully shut down?
