I was genuinely shocked and didn't see that coming, so I'm cool with it. Either way, Ryback was getting pinned. And although the Lesnar interference would have been cool, nikka wouldn't have been on the show anyway cause of his appearances limit. The feud wouldn't have even took off till a week before Survivor Series (assuming that's when the match would have been.)
Maddox 10 second balls shot + 4 count pin + getting thrown into the bushes + Shell Shock on top of cage = decent amount of #fukkery for me!

Dawg this company has not gotten shyt right since Foley's first title win.
They ruined the very perception and global purpose of the product to be racist at mania 2ooo as well.

It was worth a shot and it did have most of us popping for it, but the timing of Punk's 365 reign and the Rock RR title match made it tough to work with. I think they are trying to create a fail-safe now though, hence why he went back to squashing jobbers (sorry JTG) and is thrown into this 5 v 5 SS match. If his hype is fading by then, I think they'll cool off. It would look real weird though and an admittance of failure on the E's part. I could see us all saying a month from now "they should have just continued the IC program with Miz" - it's all entertaining to me though
Exactly. He's done a nice job of getting over, I'll give him that, but this main event appearance was premature. He was there by default. In a perfect world, he'd still be destroying midcarders and continuing the slow rise.
I think a Brock-Ryback feud would be a poor use of those valuable and limited Brock appearances. Reserve Brock for either The Rock or Undertaker.

As soon as I saw the ref low blow ryback, I thought of nick patrick. The finish had elements of that, and was reminiscient of goldbergs loss..which is just mindboggling in terms of understanding their logic, particularly when the dude is getting goldberg mock chants every night lol. Wwe is asking for it for real.
I dont mind that ryback lost. Im not a fan of this bandaid status push but its been successful thus far so im not necessarily faulting them for the loss..but adding another non character to the storyline is likely to mess it up rather than enhance it..this has to result in some sort of stable they could use to "slow down" ryback, because, at this rate, any "normal" feud isnt gonna pay off.
In addition, it cheapens the belt a bit..punk won on non sense, and they didnt restart the match, even though that happens all the time (even with beth and aj
)..so this better result in heyman/punk orchestrating a larger movement, a stable, or some other "big wig" needs to also come into play as the source
