I'm trying to know if you misread what I was saying. I 100% back blacks wanting to legally arm themselves. If everyone else can, why not? Especially if it means

My point was that the desire to live peaceful is stronger in folks than the desire to fight off an enemy. Most people will flee. I wasn't saying it was the way to go

Stop and think about this for a second.

Ask white people and others and they will think that ANYWAY. This is why people pop off on us but trust little Jason Cleaver. Black folks being murdered by others
clearly isn't the norm, otherwise it wouldn't be as newsworthy as it has been since Trayvon. Now if you are advocating for open carry, that will send a greater message.

Only thing we can hope is "I feared for my life" doesn't become even more popular when a black man gets shot for reaching for his wallet, meanwhile the shooter panicked
because the black man's hand grazed his holster on the way down. There is a perception problem that is greater than our "lack of arms."
