I know he's not likely to get an offer, but i can't hate on the guy for trying to get more. It would make more sense for him to play well this year and show some potential to earn that money. Maybe that injury has him thinking that he needs to get all he can before he breaks down.
Yeah but it won't work on a team so deep in the tax. Looney didn't even get more than the minimum and he had a better season.

well him playing well this year would be for him to maximize his earning power in the league in general. It likely wouldn't be with the Warriors. He's taking a risk that if he holds out, and does come back, he's relegated to mop up duty and then has to resign for the minimum again because he hasn't shown anything. But maybe he also sees the writing on the wall.. that he may not get much playing time regardless, so he's trying to maximize what he makes now.

For some reason I think it’s more than just about wanting more money. I think he’s still trying to figure out if he still wants to play b-ball again. I think That fall he had and year 2 struggles really affected him. He was one of the only players to stay in the locker room head down crying after game 4. Even Quinn cook shed a quick tear and then went on with popping bottles.
