damn. guess im growing out of this gxfr shyt. album is low key boringl. i keep trying to get into it and it just aint hitting for me. i like a couple tracks but i'd rather listen to almost any other gxfr release than this...gunn is like listening to birdman sometimes.Yea you’re probably the only one. Only correct thing here is how terrible Busta’s feature is this is on par with FlyGod, but I’d actually say it’s better cause of the perfect promo samples and better sequencing.
Yeah you and @Burger King are right. One bar loops with vocal samples get repetitive quick. Daringer threw in that change up every 8th bar but the beat is exactly like this, which also got repetitive.
Personally I think RVD would’ve been a nice way to start it. His projects always work well when’s joint with Keisha Plum sets it off. Like on Gustavo.
damn. guess i grew out of this gxfr shyt. album is boring as fukk for real. i keep trying to get into it and it just aint hitting for me. i like a couple tracks but i'd rather listen to almost any other gxfr release than this...gunn is like listening to birdman sometimes.
the stan in me got me ready to bump it every dayDon't feel bad breh, this album is cool but it ain't exactly shaking things up for me either.
For example my fav joint so far is that minute long joint "SaBu"
- The Roc joint sounds weak, like it should of been mastered better. Rapping over full volume samples where you can barely understand the artist is not the wave.
- Daringer has become stagnated. Beats are cool but they lack that pop.
- WSG gets pretty uninteresting after a while.
Don't get me wrong I like the album, but all this AOTY shyt nahhhhh.....
Sound like you need to listen to hus and rozewood nowthe stan in me got me ready to bump it every day
then i listen and its cool..but like i said in a previous post this shyt might smack for me later on..they def have flooded my ears the last few years so that can play a role in it as well.
i really like the song with Anderson Paak...i feel like its the perfect way to end the album..i didnt think a collab between those two would be as smooth and in the pocket as it was for both of them.
As a man who has been in every GxFR thread I've ever been in and blessing us I can't be mad at you for this. I always said he can't top FlyGod - but this is a good follow-up. Gunn is boring period... so to be honest I'm more impressed at the fact that I can listen to a "whole" album of him. This shyt really does just have it's tracks though... but the skippers are not terrible.damn. guess im growing out of this gxfr shyt. album is low key boringl. i keep trying to get into it and it just aint hitting for me. i like a couple tracks but i'd rather listen to almost any other gxfr release than this...gunn is like listening to birdman sometimes.
Maaan I be thinking about that every time I hear Stefflon Don or Sabu you can’t have Sadhugold without Mach or Fahim@T.H.E. Goat Mach and fahim should of been on this album
Mach would eat Sabu. "Why Gunn WHy Gunn why "Maaan I be thinking about that every time I hear Stefflon Don or Sabu you can’t have Sadhugold without Mach or Fahim
