I mean if wall changes his game, it could work

he has legit PG skills and is a tough defender

He can focus on that more than trying to be the Man

I honestly think harden might get wall to settle down and to accept being a role player

If wall does that, I think the rockets would be way better

a legit PG to take harden off the ball would also add another layer to the offense

Wall doesn't need to be a role player. He needs to be him for this marriage to work. Wall is a poor movement player. Just as bad as Harden. He's a piss poor floor general, just like Harden.

Wall needs to go back to doing what he did at Washington. Taking turns with Beal and doing a lot of actions and isos.

Wall fits the Harden style of play a lot more than Russ or CP3. CP3 wants to run an advanced offense and requires a lot out of everyone movement-wise and that was never going to work with Harden.
Westbrook can't shoot and is a horrible decision maker like Josh Smith. That was why that marriage ultimately failed.
Wall can shoot C&S 3 (37%). His issue was he barely took threes and when he did, the results were highly inconsistent and he didn't value it. I've seen him completely remodel and change his mechanics and he's been very effective at it in pick up games. He looks more improved than Lonzo was last year. If this is real, I think he could shoot 6-7 threes a game. That would ultimately change Wall's impact. It would open up a lot for Harden as well plus fewer double teams as he was accustomed when he had Paul.

I think Wall could have a breakout year. 8-10 WAR season with Houston. I am unsure how Silas wants to do this but his personnel screams that the style of play needs to stay the same.

I watched John Wall closely as a Wiz fan for a damn decade. I’m not talking out of my ass. Nobody on this entire board can probably say they watched John Wall play than me :stopitslime:

John Wall moved without the ball with no problem during the Wittman era. Scott Brooks offense kept him and everyone else at a standstill. That was the plays being ran. Instead of Brooks being creative he tried to morph John Wall into Russell Westbrook. Only time you really got to see John Wall be John Wall was on the fast break. This clip shows the action he was getting all year playing for Brooks.

We already watched Arenas become completely washed after his major knee injury. Now Wall is 30, has had multiple knee surgeries and now coming off an Achilles injury & hasn’t played in 2 years and you still haven’t learned what those kind of injuries do to guys who’s game is predicated upon their explosiveness :blessed:
