West Execs tired of the East being trash.

Maybe if they stopped rigging the lottery so players like Zion and Wemby don't end up in the Western Conference, we wouldn't have these issues.
Western Conference teams over the past decade + have benefited heavily from the draft lottery.
Another stupid ass post by you. First off Zion is constantly injured he’s not even a factor. That’s basically like bringing up Ben Simmons. Second of all when players like Cade or Paolo got drafted by the East was that the league rigging it? How about LeBron or Dwight? It’s more than just draft picks because even after drafting these players the East has still been inferior with a couple of exceptions.

I understand the point behind eliminating conferences.
In something like soccer, there are no conferences in the Premier League for example. It's just a seeding system based on points.

Is that a better system? Probably.
But I think rationalizing it by saying "the Eastern Conference is bad" is a bit foolish since these things tend to ebb and flow over time.
UK ain’t as big as the US don’t think it will work

Were Jokic, Doncic, SGA, Steph, Booker, last years Halliburton #1 in the draft?

I’m tired of you tinfoil hats with your conspiracy theories about everything. Randomness is an actual thing.

Just like a lot of GMs legacy is based on them getting a “generational” player by pure luck. whether it’s a qb in the nfl or a random mid 1sr rounder like the Greek or Jokic

East has had a better overall win percentage than the West 7 times in the last 30 years. The shyt is ridiculous, ain’t no damn ebb and flow :dead:
My favorite stat about the imbalance in the league:

Since Jordan retired from the Bulls in '98, there hasn't been a single season where the East had more All-NBA players than the West. Not one. There's been some 7/8 years but never has the East had more.

I argued for 1-16 seeding a decade ago when LeBron was going to the Finals every year because there'd be 3-5 East players on All-NBA and one of them would be his teammate. :dead:

#We Are The Flash #DOOMSET #LukeCageSet #NEWLWO
lol hornets magically gifted #1 picks right after losing key players. Also the cavs getting 3 #1 picks was absurd. And Wemby ends up on the one team that had a French legend.

Hornets ain’t have a #1 since Larry Johns

The only been getting #2s

top 16 would be piff.. if 32 teams make everyone play each other 3 times (home/away/special) and kill the preseason.. use that extra time to extend season and remove b2b

I get it, but it’s still stupid. The post season has always worked itself out. We’ve recently seen the most parity of NBA champs in the since the 1970s, within just the last half decade or more. Why the call for change now? The East vs West is a time old tradition. It’s always worked. The battle tested western teams, rarely end up fatigued for the finals. And it’s never just a cake walk for the eastern team with the best record. 2023 Miami showed you, that anybody can get got.

At some point there needs to be some serious in-depth historical study on WHY the East is usually worse than the West. Y'all remember 2008 when all western playoffs teams had won 50 games and the Warriors didn't make it despite winning 48? They would've been 4th in the East. Hell that year the Kings were 11th with 38 wins, meaning they would've been 8th in the East.
