if we trade up for a back from freakin BAMA I will flip
To be fair, Yeldon is a much different back than Ingram, Struggle Cuts, or Lacy.

Those guys are bigger, bruising guys. Yeldon is a one cut, speed back. He runs high (kind of like DeMarco) and hasn't proven himself blocking in the backfield. So the worry about Romo is there if we take him.

But Yeldon has speed none of his predecessors ever had at Alabama. Honestly, he's a pretty good fit outside his unproven blitz pickup.

I like Yeldon's ability to hit the hole and get to the 2nd level with the quickness more than Gordon's ability to do the same.

Not saying he's a better back, but all we need in this Offense is a RB who won't lollygag at the LoS and hits the hole quickly...

You are being real extra right now, you act like they just drafted Bobby Carpenter or Stephen Hodge and it's the end of the world. Do you not see the mess our corner situation is right now? Our secondary is terrible whereas we at least have some talent on the DL. My #1 choice was always corner but i wanted Marcus Peters, Brown might be a solid player and I wanted him as well but it is what it is. It honestly seems like you want this pick to be a bust.

i honestly never even wanted to keep this pick :yeshrug: rookies are not gona save our defense this season :yeshrug:

but i figured if we were gona go defense anyway it was best to go D-line which is STILL a question mark despite what some of yall are saying brehs... :yeshrug:were putting all our hopes and dreams on Lawrence basically..

but hes a cowboy now so ill root for him but im still nervous about this situation in general :francis:

what do we do tonight brehs? RB or D-line?
