I don't know about anything specifically but Gasol and Joerger have hinted in interviews that the team's chemistry and morale went south around that time, and their record and the way they played showed it.

Maybe, but he was traded in January and the Grizzlies didn't miss a beat with him at first. In fact I think they went on an eight or nine game winning streak shortly after aquiring him
