the best thing Thibs coulda did was start Tucker just to hit either Jimmy or Draymond with a flagrant 1, Instead he's giggling with the opps right after the game is over.

Thibs is a floor raiser, but as for your ceiling, it's capped with him.
I’m not a Thibs fan but no one is winning a title with this roster.

he aint starting on the cavs, okc, or celtics.
they all value 3point volume ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE NOT A TRUE BIG
mother fukker is the first rebounding guard
not a shooting guard.
regardless he would be a 25mpg player tops, not this 40 minute bullshyt with all his flaws
thibs prioritizes rebounding over generating turnovers or spacing, meanwhile all the other contenders know liveball turnovers and 3s dictate the outcome of games more than boards
archaic ass coach think its 1995 with fukked up priorites
Yeah, it’s personal with you. :picard:

Hart is a great bench piece, the biggest impact he made was when he came here and was a change of pace sixth man. A better coach would want to see if Deuce or Mitch fits better with the starters once Brunson comes back.

A better coach would be bugging the FO saying “we need a Forward so Bridges can play SG and OG can play SF/PF depending on the lineup”

If this team doesn’t make the ECF they need to jettison him.
The team is good but clearly not good enough yet you want to get rid of a perfectly fine coach (who Draymond lauded after the game) to bring in god knows who. :mjlol:

A player who’s had a great season is now being picked apart because of a rough stretch in the season.

Josh isn’t a starter and that’s ok guys. Doesn’t mean he’s not important or a key piece to this team winning but i don’t think many of us last year when we were dreaming up this teams best 5 had Josh Hart in those plans. We ALL wanted a 5 of Brunson, DDV, Mikal, OG and Julius. Then we traded for KAT, lost Mitch and a shyt ton of depth. Josh has been a placeholder in the starting 5 and once this team is healthy I’d love to see him on the bench for Mitch.

On the Thibs front, while I’m souring on Thibs at the moment, I’m not on board with firing him just yet. I’m not against it per se either if a better option presents itself over the summer but I’m not judging this team without Brunson. We’re playing about as well as I’d think we are without him. I was just telling my complaining buddy last night that this exact roster without Brunson is a 5 or 6 seed. We’re basically the Pacers.

Buddy has started 67% of his games from his third season on across three different clubs but he’s not a starter.

14/10/5 with 1.5 steals on 53/33/79, 17 PER, 62% TS, 2.8 value over replacement, 2.7 box plus minus but he’s not a starter.

The Knicks are 42-24 in his starts this season.

God damn third best player all season and consistent

But he’s NOT a starter

All because the nikka has limitations like any other player in the league…

I am not saying get a nobody but this team is talented enough that legit good coaches would want to come here. A “perfectly fine” coach ain’t cutting it at this point.

Also, I like Hart, but on this squad he isn’t a starter. Thibs own system highlighted transition with bench units and they don’t got that due to personal and Hart might be the best transition player on the team.

There’s no point in firing the coach.

The team is as good as it can be despite depth issues and nagging injuries. There’s been a consistent, established culture here.

It’s one of the best Knicks teams of the last 25 years if not the best.

You really want to get into it. Thibs coaching sucks with these guys. A better coach could figure out how to make it work but that ain’t Thibs. He is running a 5 out system, and Hart isn’t a good shooter. Don’t even get me started on how a 5 out exclusive system completely ignores the personnel and isn’t adapting to the league adapting to what the Knicks were doing earlier in the season.

If they get bounced in the second round (or before) it’s time for him to go.

You are right it’s one of the best Knicks teams in 25 years. It deserves better coaching.
