I dont like the hire

I dont know anything about Sirianni so ill be happy to be wrong

Optics of it look bad though. Feels to me like theyre going in the exact opposite direction of what makes sense right now. Also feels very much like this is 100% all about Carson.

The team is in financial hell and clearly a transition spot and in need of adding youth and shedding salary .

Working out a way to get Wentz traded with reworking the deal to eliminate the cap hits in the next few years, while getting back some picks its such an obvious fix. Especially after the disaster of last season

Hiring duce and playing Jalen while rebuilding was a lay up. You had players, respected eagles vets especially, openely pining for duce to to be hired.

I think they fumbled this whole situation and it looks really bad optically. Its gonna make Wentz more unlikeable too. If theres ever full stadiums again, hes gonna get killed by the fans for every mistake.

I think they got scared about carson and caved to an easy decision. I hope im wrong and either carson still gets moved, or that it all just works out well but i have alot of doubts right now

If im duce im quitting right now btw

Winning cures all ills but we're a yr away from competing for the division again

This was sadly inevitable. The FO hiring Sirianni as Head Coach and him looking outside to guys like Steichen and Modkins for the OC positions shows that there was just no interest in elevating Duce. He probably wouldn’t have a future chance of getting anywhere in Philadelphia with a new HC who undoubtedly wants to bring in his guys, either. It really sucks for him, and naturally he’ll want to explore other opportunities elsewhere.

wouldn't be shocked at all if the locker room is completely dysfunctional next season once a few losses come. dougs departure, duces departure when tons of players were riding for him & this whole wentz situation is a recipe for disaster if we don't come out of the gate hot. winning definitely cures all so we'll see, hopefully howie can nail the draft for once in his life.

They’ll just blame covid and not being able to get really hands on with the players

Yup this shyt about to be a mess you have a bunch of Wentz enablers. I feel bad for Hurts and others.

Especially if Hurts look better than Wentz again like reporters and anonymous sources were saying in camp and practice

Obv not next year due to Cap Genius's mismanagement, but it will likely have an impact on FA's wanting to come here too

The Press Taylor era in Philadelphia appears to be over, as the Eagles and head coach Nick Sirianni, have named Kevin Patullo to the position of passing game coordinator on offense.

Patullo just finished his third season with the Colts and his first as a pass-game specialist. He has 15 years of coaching experience, including 10 seasons in the NFL.

Patullo served as wide receivers coach for Indianapolis the last two seasons (2018-19) and spent time with the Jets as the team’s quarterbacks coach.

It’s ironic because the Colts made a new position for Patullo on the staff after they hired Mike Groh, who’d been fired by the Eagles last offseason.

Patullo has a deep background with RPO concepts and the Colts really liked him because he brings a modern and creative take with the passing game.
