Just started this. It’s cool, but a few things keeping me from getting into it/giving these characters validity.
One, this prison is soft as fukk. I know a lot of developed nations have nicer prison systems than us, but that’s why I can’t take this seriously. Guards don’t have guns, there are only like 4 of them at that, they let these people do whatever, they’re like playground supervisors, there’s no security cams, lack of cuffs/roaming around all day (even in OITNB which had seasons where it looked like summer camp, they had legit protocol and procedures that showed it wasn’t a game when shyt went too far), no repercussions for actions, got kids living in jail, hella cute decorations/fluffy comforters in the cells
And so far these women in here on some weak ass charges (basically being drunks, or throwing temper tantrums) now all of a suddenly they thuggin? Running drugs? They got the anorexic teen looking chick Frankie running one crew and Meryl Streep as Martha Stewart running another
Luckily they have created a compelling enough story for me to overlook this, but these prison conditions are better than some fukking schools I’ve been to.

Its Australian based network called Foxtel.... Netflix usually gets the season a month after the original season ends....
