I have been leaning and switching to weights first.

but it depends on my goal for the day. Then a few times I do cardio first and then weights due to convenience or I'm trying to do something else.

Usually cardio. If I do weights first I'm too tired to do as many miles as I'd like.

Cardio first. I cant lift without cardio first, my gym partners think its so weird. I literally have no energy when i try weights first

I can do an hour of cardio and have hella energy

An hour of cardio first? :leon:

What is your lifting setup?

I do 3 mile runs with 30 minute jump rope if ima do chest (mostly dumbbell presses and cable machines), back (lat pull down machine or pull ups), and shoulders (shoulder press with dumbells and dumbebell arm raises)

I do 30 mins of stair master or 5 mile bike ride as fast as i can then 30 minutes of jump rope if im doing legs (mostly lunges, body weight squats, deadlifts, and leg machines)

5x10 lifting going up 10 pounds every 2 sets. Usually i have extra energy so ill add another 1 or 2 sets going up till i can only do 3 reps

If you need cardio do cardio. I am still a weight guy, and I know if I lift before I hit the cardio section I won't be hitting the cardio section

weights first then cardio. After lifting weights I'll do some sled pulls or hit the prowler. I dont really do "traditional" cardio like running miles or hitting the treatmill.

I prioritize lifting over cardio on my lifting days 3 a week as I have 2 days dedicated to cardio.

Cardio is either running, elliptical, or C2 rower usually in the 25-50 minute range.

I see a lot of breh's say that they need cardio to warm up that is nothing more than you are using it for a warmup which I support. You are getting your blood flowing. I typically can get a warm up in about 5-10 minutes of steady state cardio. After that I will do some old school stretches and something to get the blood flowing to my legs (I am trying to build some big ass quads) and do some lower back extension, couple of pullups/chin-ups/pushups/dips or pre-exhaustion ….
