Weight training without headphones?

I've tried it before a few times because I thought it would help me focus but I just can't do it. So this is where I'm at...

Cant workout without them. Helps not to hear shytty gym music, random conversations, and mfers grunting for no reason. Music puts me in my own zone.

Hell I can't even shoot around the court without music so I copped some bluetooth headphones. Music helps me focus. I can't focus for shyt without it.

For myself its the exact opposite. Working out without headphones is kinda odd to me. I need me some 50, Waka, DMX n shyt to really push out that last 2 reps

Exactly what I listen too. Maybe add in some 3-6

I can't disagree with you there. Except when flat benching. fukking over the ear headphones won't stay still for shyt. In when I'm under that bar I don't need nothing fukking with my concentration.

I use earbuds and something I do when I'm flat benching causes them to fall out. Usually the left side. Been like that all my life so I know its not any kind of specific ear bud.

There's no way I can focus on lifts with music playing.

I prefer to work with out them. Just more efficient and I can focus more on the workout itself.

I NEED headphones. I can't stand that crappy top 40 gym music. Only time I never needed headphones was when I was in Brooklyn and I used to hit up Richie's Gym off Bushwick Ave.... nikkas would be playing non stop hip hop and some occasional house on Friday nights. Mad grimy spot. Not a towel to be found in the entire joint lol
