OK, guys...nobody is doubting that LL has longevity. The sub-issue at hand is whether he (along with other rappers who've been in the game for a comparable amount of time) is
relevant. Yes, dude's been in the game for a minute (30 years is quite a while) but he hasn't been relative in over a decade as far as rapping goes. Y'all are shifting goal posts by switching the issue from relevance to longevity.
Compare LL's career to Nas' and you'll see that Nas' career is an example of longevity AND relevance. In the last 10 years, Nas has dropped 3 solo albums and 1 collab album. What has LL done in the rap game (other than that overhyped, overrated "Accidental Racist" song) within that time frame?
At this point in his rapping career, LL is a fading figure. Nas is still active. Nas wins.
