The point is he used these guys when they were at their best & then disposed of them. That's why he never seemed to trip when they left. None of those guys ever released material that was as close to being good as their CMR material. He held on to Wayne back then, because he knew he hadn't got Wayne's best yet. He's gotten it now. :whew: I doubt he gives a fukk if Wayne wants to leave because he's already had his best years. Baby is a beast

I knew this day was gonna come....Its been in the making. :banderas:

Birdman wasn't going to keep Wayne distracted with drugs, bytches and nikka trinkets for long. The difference between back then when Wayne tried to split and now is that back then he was a star on the rise. Birdman saw alot of potential in him so to keep Wayne on the label he gave him empty titles like "President of Cash Money Records, CEO of Young Money, etc" which we know Wayne has no control over. The nikka was only getting allowance money. Right now, Wayne stardom has fizzled, his skills are declining and Young Thug is where Weezy was at 10 years ago (Not talented wise, but on the come up to stardom)

I would've been left that crusty lipped label. Wayne was a superstar, a work horse, putting out more records than 2Pac selling millions of records and still don't get respected by his baby daddy.

thing is, Wayne been wanting to leave Cash Money since the end of the Hot Boy era. He was talking to Rocafella. Birdman gave him a vanity label and president title to keep him quiet. All the original members have said Wayne is scared of Baby, so he stayed down. Lil Turk did an interview this year saying he and Wayne use to talk everyday about going to holla at Master P for a deal cause Cash Money was playing them even then. Dude shoulda been walked.
