They aren't getting "TNA numbers"... TNA was doing 1.5 million at a time before cable cutting and streaming platforms reached the masses. TNA on Pop TV was doing 500K
TNA on wherever they went after that was doing even less.
Plus, for the simple minds out there it's not only about total viewers it's about the important demo. AEW is doubling and tripling NXT in the main demos, they beat Smackdown from a couple weeks ago in the 18-34 demo.
The only number NXT does better in is 50+

Trips treated it’s like a territory/ indie from the matches to how minimal the whole setup is

Idk what's so bad about getting the same numbers TNA were getting 10 years ago, which was before Netflix and cord cutting was huge.
TNA wasn't drawing on the road like AEW either.

TNA on Spike was drawing at least a million viewers regularly for years. When they left them to go to these other networks, those networks were in some cases half the homes Spike was so of course their viewership was less. People didnt get the channel so they couldnt see it.
TNT has even more viewership then Spike.
