Uncertain grounds
The next step (after other states following suit) is getting the fed to ease up more and have players start to negotiate its use into CBAs in the major sports...then businesses will have to remove it from their drug policies in terms of testing and will have only the power to restrict its use on premises or being under the influence during work, but not necessarily smoking on free time.

This is an epic win..but lets not jump the gun. Colorado has been prone to random craziness and all it takes is one ridiculous event to push it back the other way and dissuade other states. Lets hope people are reasonable in those states and can provide health benefits to the people and revenue to the state so a good example is set. Luckily, washington affirmed as well, so there is a chance for a stronger precedent or can offset or mitigate the negative effects of colorado, or colorado of washington should it backfire there. As far as I know, there is a better infrastructure in colorado than washington so results should develop faster.

what a great day. now Obama gotta push for national legalization now that he has nothing to lose. fukk the politics

He can do that in 2014 when the last of the Rethugs get booted out of the house.

Socially, we are really heading towards true social justice.

Romney will be the posterboy for the downfall of the popularity of the Republican party.

I can honestly say I'm actually proud of America today. Minorites came out, weed Legalized, Gay marriage passed in Maryland, Re-electing a Black Prez. I mean the whole country is changing. We are headed on the right path folks.

Well, thats certaily arguable.....we're on a more progressive and liberal path...if you view that as the right path as >50% of america does, then yeah, we are....but not everyone does. :manny:

A Progressive path is the right path cause it includes everyone. That's not even me being elitist but the Republicans biggest problem is sadly they haven't been inclusive to a lot of different groups. Sure the country is 50/50 split but the fact is we are moving more progressive. It's time for the republicans to wake up. In 15-20 years, Weed will be legalized. So will gay marriage. The Senate and House will have more Latinos and blacks and Asians in them. America finally is having a chance to become what the nation it set out to truly be. Where everyone is included no matter what your race or religion is. This Election was a huge wake up call for Republicans. They are going to have to change or the country will leave them behind.
