So the reason it was boring was Pac? So what about the countless of other fights Floyd has had where people have said the same thing about him? Stop it. Im not saying i agree/disagree with them, but you're reaching putting it on Pac for it being boring when it has been what people have said about Floyd specifically for years now.
You have to attack him, if a dude keeps on slapping you on the face and backs of amazingly fast, will you try to slap him back or try to knock him out?
Floyd had some boring fights in which people turnt it up, but some of these people just trying to survive the fight by not really turning it up and just collecting a better check than they'll ever get. Pacman had the the chance to prove that he could be mentioned in the same breath as Money but he just stood there delivering lame attacks and Floyd just controlled him like a prostitute.

He has a very few boring fights for a real boxing head, from 2003 I could probably name 4-5.
And in those fights, if you are technically inferior and losing the fight why the hell would you keep on doing the same shyt instead of trying to make some drastic change and turn it up a la Cotto? Floyd is winning the fight and keeping protecting his brain, it's on you to make it interesting not the dude who is winning comfortably.

fight was exactly as any boxing head would expect. :pacspit: at casual fans.

obviously Tysons not a casual fan, but he obviously has something against money may.
It's not that serious, man. You were a casual fan at one point; but then you saw a fight, that excited you; and made you a full time fan. If a person who doesn't watch boxing is getting told ' ahhh breh, you have to pop your " boxing cherry" with this match" and he saw what he saw and walked away like :yeshrug: no thanks; how could you be mad?

Yall obviously haven't seen this video then -

Tyson wanted Mayweather to lose. The only joy he'd get outta that fight was if Mayweather lost.

There's no way in hell he would've tweeted just "We waited 5 years for that #underwhelmed" if Pacquiao won in the same manner that Mayweather did. He would've been part of and swept up with the euphoria of Mayweather losing just like 98% of the public that were rooting against him - that the contents and climaxes of each round would be a footnote - because everyone would be focused solely on Mayweather going 47-1.

Tyson loves Ali like a father

U see he didnt snap till he said that sh1t. Ask Larry holmes how mich Tyson loves Ali

While I don't expect Tyson to articulate himself in the exact manner he may have intended to - clearly he went past any reasonable leniency of criticizing Mayweather's boxing skills and level of competition, when he brought up his life outside of it by personally vilifying him.

That's not only some dumb shyt, but it's also [I hate using this word] some c00n shyt. It just gave white folk a vehicle to drive their agendas home even more.

How is he a co0n for that?

Mayweather is smaller than most women, he is afraid. Thats why he has to take Full Force everywhere he go. Ali was loved by his people. He could walk around the poorest slums of Africa or the inner city of Chicago and feel safe. Only c0ons would think Mike is a co0n for pointing that out

If you need to ask that there's no point in explaining it to you. :manny:

Even though it was kind of a boring boxing match. I'd rather 50 Rounds of a fight like that V.S. an MLB game.

The irony of that smiley.:russ:

I knew this fight wasn't going to live up to the hype, Floyd is a great boxer but his fights are boring.

Floyd and Pac are the best boxing has out there and this was a fight 5 years in the making with the highest gross ever and it was an uneventful 12 round decision.

No it's not:dahell:

I really don't know what people expected. It was a Floyd fight. Manny was supposed to disrupt Floyd's style and he didn't. He claims he had a strategy to cut off the ring and even when the ring was cut off, he couldn't land punches. It was a classic Floyd fight. I enjoyed it.

shyt annoys me to no end...it's like all these casual/bandwagon ass fans expected it to magically be different...or only tuned it because of Pac/the "hype"

They're pretty much the same type of people who say they'd only listen to eminem and hate hip-hop.

If the fight was "boring" the burden is on Pac..not Mayweather.

Just reading random articles today, fukking hilarious the various comments from people...dumb fukks.

If people were underwhelmed, it should be with Pac. He didn't take the fight to a brawling level and that's largely because he wasn't good enough to take Floyd outside of his comfort zone. Pac was the underwhelming one because you knew what Floyd was going to do in the ring.
