Yeah everyone agrees the WWE is starting to see the repercussions of their years of poor decision making and stale creative.

Trying to instead put that on the talent like Rollins is asinine.

I ain't putting it on him. But if he's a real star then he can't move the needle at all? He can't build any buzz at all being the top guy in the company?

I didn't expect him or anyone to make a difference in ratings, but drawing a house? He can't do that being THE GUY? He's a wash. No one is paying money to watch Rollins. Part of that is WWE's broken system that prevents stars being made, but part of it is overrated bums like Rollins being overpushed. Man, even Ambrose drew better houses as champ.

No one moves the needle. Thats the way WWE has set it up.

Say you aint putting it on him then put it on him
:jagfan: Overrated bum? Ambrose drew better houses?

:gucci:You really dont understand this shyt. Drop '96 Steve Austin in the WWE today and he's...Samoa Joe at best. :yeshrug:

He's not the cause of this shyt. But he has done nothing to arrest the decline. I ain't asking for much. I'm just asking for the top guy in the company to do better than record low ratings and attendance. Is that too much to ask? Give me something to show me you're a top guy. Cena still moves the needle no matter how trash the product is. It can be done.

But Rollins ain't Samoa Joe. He's THE GUY. He headlines the shows, he get's the most TV time. And they're curtaining off entire sections of arenas. And Rollins is topping the card and he ain't making no fukking difference.

And if Austin was around today he sure wouldn't catch fire like he did in 98, but he would sure as shyt make more of difference and engage audiences more than Rollins' whiney voice generic long hair and beard CAW bytch ass has been doing

One guy does not turn around a shyt tier product. It takes the whole show picking up with 1-2 guys at the top being the most over stars. The whole show is bad. They keep booking the same shyt over and over. It doesn’t matter who they put out there. Ratings keep dropping and have kept dropping steadily for nearly 20 years now. No one wrestler can fix this. There’s not really any great heels, every title feels meaningless, there’s way too much content every week, and both shows are over saturated with authority figures that the crowd is tired of after the last 20+ years. If Austin was around today, they’d basically book him as a utility guy like cesaro. Cena moves the needle because they fully committed to making him look and feel special while marketing him nonstop to little kids who’d tune in and buy his ugly shirts. Who do they promote and market as a star these days?

Again, I'm not talking about turning the product around. Just give me something more than worst ratings and attendance in living memory. Draw 7000 instead of 6000. Give me a 5% bump in the ratings. Give me something, breh if Rollins is the star ya'll have been hyping him as.

He’s feuding with baron Corbin. PT Barnum couldn’t sell a feud involving baron Corbin to the crowd.

Book the champ in an extremely shytty storyline against a guy with go away heat that absolutely no on believes will win and expect it to draw, brehs.

Basically jack the layout of a match from 98, but forget why people liked the original match, brehs.

Do all that so the guy in charge can basically tug one out over the idea of two of his talents fukking, brehs. :mjlol:

Kofi vs Ziggler was a generic cage match for the first half, but the 2nd half with the leg submission, false finishes and cage escape stuff was good.

Corbins over as a heel, maybe more than anyone else. And the crowd chanting AEW might be next level smark sh1t because they think they hate Corbin for real and know booing validates him as a heel. If the fans really thought he could win I think his heat would be crazy.

I like the idea of more male/female stories in wrestling, but I see why everyone stays away from it now. You're limited in what you can do. WWE doesn't want to get heat with their advertisers expecting PG sh1t if they do something too mature or sexual, and if they could get heat with other advertisers if an internet campaign starts over something misogynistic in their storylines also.

Corbin chokeslam, punches, and bossman slams are dope. He's decent. Gotta get out of this porn director attire tho.

cena moved the needle the wrong way.
chased alot of people away.
now its to the point where the kids who grew up on that chit are off wrestling now, and all you have left are the lifelong WWE plantation fans.

as for rollins, hes a workhorse guy that's not a believable champion but deserves a title run here-n-there.
basically what shawn michaels was, except they don't over-push him like they did michaels.
I like rollins. dude been carrying raw for a good while now.

I was scrolling through Facebook and saw this ad. At first glance, it looked like Seth Rollins was fighting an Applebees manager.
