We got to like leaders the Honorable Tariq Rasheed suggests. "Vote for Trump or DeSantis, and all Republican politicians. Sure, they will take more rights away from blacks, but it will motivate Democrats to cater to only black people and pass a reparations bill without any Republicans or white people in genral agreeing with it. How that happens? Not my job to figure it out. Ask those do nothing Democrats."

Serious question but I'm not sure what ADOS/FBA did to establish the cultural core over the church, HBCUs, Black History month and the Black National Anthem, etc?
Moving the cultural psyche to start thinking ethnic/lineage based. There is no prior identity that’s done this. The hope is that the sentiment and idea keeps growing and growing till it marinates into the populace

Those “ what was wrong with being regular black” idiots, seem to be some of the biggest opponents to this

Nope, I said what I said.

Black people, black men especially need to become formidable individuals independent of government anything. If these so called 'rights' we have fought for all this time can be rolled back, granted again after another 20 or 30 some odd years only to be rolled back again after this team takes advantage over the other...the shyt was never really real in the first fukking place.

I couldn't care less about any of that shyt, fukk affirmative action, fukk reperations too while we at it. I'm not about to beg to go to these peckerwood schools or for a check, I'd rather grow my own food, edcuate my own children and build my own community/micro-nation. The more time you "vote or die" nikkas spend actually organizing toward something besides being used as a political football the sooner we can focus on shyt that CANNOT be given or taken away with the stroke of a pen.

:russell:You ain’t gonna do shyt either. Talk is cheap.
Please elaborate

These politicians are the egg, the base is the chicken. If these crackers wanted a Bernie Sanders that’s what would they’d go for. But they don’t.

Politicians is playing to the base cause that’s what gets them elected

I will admit that even tho I support Trump now, we would have had a better chance at getting reparations had Hillary been elected.

White supremacy was on the ropes, reeling from having a black man as president. White supremacists were feeling like they didn't belong in America any more and they were choosing to stay home rather than get involved in a process that they no longer recognized.

Plus they were starting to see that all the good ole boy days was over. White folks was getting doxxed and fired en masse after their racist actions were revealed.

We honestly could have took this thing over. A Hilary presidency would have continued most of the Obama policies, which were lowkey set up to aid minorities, namely us if we took advantage of them.

And Hillary as president would have kept the racists on the sideline cause she would forever be looked at as an extension of Obama due to her serving as his secretary of state.

By 2030, reparations could have been a viable thing.

But the election of Trump revitalized these devils, gave them a second wind. And every single move since then has been to roll back every significant gain that we had obtained.

I can't see it happening at all now. They rolled us all the way back to the 1970s as far as our political standing goes. Everything we obtained these last 40 years has been wiped out.

With that being said, eff yall dumbass Democrat Shills, Trump 2024, you thought :umad:

This is so obvious and clear. Reparations are a pipe dream and any pro black policy would be struck down and declared unconstitutional quickly with this Conservative right wing supreme Court.
Anything that can help black people advance the social ladder is DoA in the court.

Y'all anti-community and that is core to a movement. To have community, you need to be outside, being good to people, and helping them especially the most disfranchised people y'all to shyt #onhere. nikkas arguing over lineage, but these kids aren't having no place to go after school. Your neighbor about to evicted, and your back hunched listening to Ton Talk.

Where is that identity and love for your people if you aren't outside expressing it?

have any Democrats ever approved reparations in a jurisdiction they control? I think Cali was closest but I heard the governor said foh
I'm starting to think them reparation studies is some kind of budget finesse so reps got another project to expense. My city 2024 protected budget is -$500mil yet they doing a reparations study when we already know what the answer going be

If reparations goes through, it won't be wht we want. This court has made it clear, race doesn't exist in the constitution and so, we cannot favor one race over another. Any modern day reparations will need to be given to all decedents of slaves.

Realistic reparations would need to originate at the state level. Its easier to focus on Black folk recipients, on the municipal level without having to explicitly single them out/track them as "Black people". Problem is, most former slave states are broke and have historical been broke, since we were freed... even if we were to vote out all of the racists that currently run those states..... states don't have the money.

I'm saying: Before any of us were born, we had our own National Anthem. We had our own higher learning institutions and cuisine/genres, our own churches, etc. We even celebrated our own Independence Day last week. Those are all indicators or a unique cultural identity if you ask me, but you're saying they're not? It's ADOS/FBA? I'm missing what they provided better than that.
