Look at people staring at their phones in public, it's really really out of control
and I'm carrying two phones always, so it's not like I don't call or text, but that staring blankly shyt is another thing
Read that it actually does rewire your brain, creating feedback loops, so that real life pleasures, even sex, touch, conversations, food, are less and less pleasurable compared to the dopamine rush of scrolling and hitting that meme or that video or whatever it is.
I used to sleep with this woman, (and stay the night) probably a very very common thing, but first thing every morning was scrolling her phone, and I swear it made me panic to just look across and see her scrolling, laying down, phone in her hand. it was like staring into a void.
