More like dropped a huge gift on the industry. Everything doesn't need a remake, and Last Dragon is so steeped in 80's tomfoolery that you can't translate it into a good modern day version.

It's really a hip hop movie.
Hip hop culture has changed so much since then that movie could easily be done over.
The old heads are going to definitely watch it and it's going to be something new for the younger generation
