when was the last time a young director jumped on the scene like coogler and just started putting out dope films? of any race? this dude the next great director to me, and i cant think of a better choice for this movie. im sure the studio gonna interfere to some degree, you cant escape that, but the great directors will figure out how to smuggle their identity into it regardless.

Yeah Finn was a major let-down...really hope they just let T'Challa shine.

We can have all of these white characters being these perfect Mary Sues, but for black characters, they usually try to add all these caveats and "everyman" nonsense. fukk that. T'challa is KING!

Great to see a young talented black director take this step. I met Coogler a few years ago and know for a fact he's going to bring black people on his staff. People don't understand how important those intern and assistant positions are. Getting black people experience on sets is essential to changing how Hollywood operates.
