Doug said they will line Desean inside on some plays to- I know Nelly is a slot but my point is we have other pass catchers who can line up there

Eh... Shady is 31-years old, possibly past-his-prime, and even if the Eagles did sign him (they won't) he wouldn't get a whole lot of carries with Howard, Sanders, and one of Sproles/Clement ahead of him and already being familiar with Doug's system. I used to love the Shady back when he was on the team but it's been over.

Texans, Chargers, and Buccaneers are three teams I can think of that could really use some running back help. He'd contribute way more somewhere else than he would in Philly.

We wanted to believe he could be a mainstay but he wasn't it..plus he has fumble issues...I am sure he will end up in NY. I am eyeing the Delaware TE Charles Scharf, just released by Baltimore. The tight ends coach worked him out before the draft. He is such an upgrade over Perkins and Rodgers...get him Howie!!

I knew it was a wrap for him and Adams when they had them play that final preseason game.

Smallwood wasnt that bad, he was serviceable. He was never a lead back type. He had some decent stretches. I never hated him like that.

Hope he catches on somewhere else.
