Backup QBs that are half way decent are rare as fukk. We will spend decades without another Foles type backup lol. Just hope it doesn't cost it anything important.

Nate is ok but he reminds me of the first Nick Foles, he needs perfect protection. His pocket movement is shaky and any ounce of pressure he gets happy feet.
Is Toth actually good? I don’t know anything about him

He was a senior bowl stand out a few years ago....alot of scouts were on his dikk after the game. His pro day was meh
But he moves really well for his size. He is likely a G/T backup but needs a year to add size and more functional strength...
Army NEVER passes the ball...so he has NO idea what to do in pass protection...but he is a really good run blocker...he is like the reverse Dillard...the only problem is learning pass pro is way harder than learning to run block

mccown is like a older Carson same damn near everything. I was def more comfortable with Nate.

I know he wanted 20M for the AAF....maybe he said that shyt knowing they cant pay it but thats what I got to go on.
I dont see how Carson is anything like Mccown- and I dont see what Nate has done for people to feel comfortable with him...he aight but he wasnt lighting shyt up in limited time.

From my knowledge when the Ravens/Seahawks were close with kaep on a deal it fell through over other shyt, not with money
I say we don't explore a move with Kaep because how close he is with Eric Reid. Now I don't doubt that Jenk wouldn't put shyt aside for this team. But you wouldn't want the locker room disrupted over this either

I say Carson wentz and mcCown are similar i mean white boy that can move and decent arm. of course wentz has been better but similar abilities. I would take Kap in a heart beat for sure.
at some point you gotta trust your coach and what we have . They have had Nate there he has been in the offense. there aint many QBs to call in off the streets that should walk in and take his spot. who jake Cutler , mark sanchez I think brock osweiler out there.

I agree, there nothing but bums out there, i dont want brock, jay, sleeves, sanchez. I think Nate is ok, but i hear alot of cats making him out to be some qb who nice like that.
I just see nate as a career backup, which is fine...altho i trust mccown more than nate bc at least mccown has won games
Even then, it took Foles four games – one of which he was okay, two of which he was absolutely dreadful, and one where he was mediocre – to play at the level he did. The NFCCG and Super Bowl LII really skewed the perspective on Foles and have made people think he was a lot better than he actually was.
As far as backups go, McCown is pretty much what you’d hope for and not that much different from Foles. He’s a player who can come onto a team in an emergency and, if nothing else, at least be a reliable game-manager. He's not amazing, but he's competent, and sometimes that's really all you need - especially if the rest of the team is stacked. I also love the fact that he can bring veteran experience into the QB room to help Wentz. That’s a very underappreciated value in backup QBs, and it’s something that Nate wouldn’t be able to provide.
