We have to find a way to get non-college educated Black people to get more politically involved.

:what:

1- Those people do vote and the reasons they give for who they vote for would make you :snoop: so it only matters if they’re voting for who you want which brings me to…

2- I hate when people say ‘vote, no matter who you vote for’. If you’re not voting for my party why tf would I care what you do. Idgaf about the health of the US voting establishment, I want my party to win. So let’s cut the shyt on that part. That’s yet another politically correct thing that only democrats say —-while republicans are playing hardball out here evoking the KKK if it means a W. Once again the party is too soft

Not at all…. If you mean by conservative beliefs as in wanting to live in a country that protects the welfare of the citizenry and regulating the economy in a matter that the overwhelming majority can work one job and support themselves without issue? If that’s the case, I’m not sure why a northern or west coast nikka wouldn’t want the same thing…..
The Democratic Party didn’t run on a gay platform and any politician trying to run on a Christian narrative is a bold faced liar….

And unlike the theme in this thread, education(or what y’all call education) has very little to do with anything…

I dont think black men and women, as a whole, see education in the same way.

No matter the circumstances for the discussion, there's always a serious resistance to higher ed from men on this site.

Also conservatism n liberalism mean different things to different people.

Top 2 democratic supporters every election : black women and black men).

The Democratic Party needs to do better appealing to the people in which they would like their support. No other racial group picked her over trump. This loss has absolutely nothing to do with us. (I voted). People have been real active with outreach this cycle. That wasn’t the problem.

IMO it's more important to get non-college educated black people jobs. Having a job, having a career, envisioning a future for yourself etc is how you get interested in things like politics. If you see no future for yourself, why would you care about politics?

There are so many trades jobs available that can't attract candidates because not enough people are qualified. There are HVAC jobs available that people aren't getting because they aren't certified. There are good paying federal (and state) jobs that don't require college degrees that black men don't know or think about. You would think that democrats would understand the incentive to funnel men into those jobs via barbershop and church outreach. I've seen so many brehs get handed a business card at the barbershop after conversations about xyz. There HAS to be some type of community connection between rolling in every 4 years to denigrate black men for not voting enough.
I get what you're saying but how long do we have to keep dragging people to the finish line? It comes a point in time where you realize some people are where they're at in life due to their choices. Just leave them there until they want better for themselves and start making the necessary changes. I've went to a lot of events where I've spoken to young people and adults about my job and how you can do it without a degree. Especially now that they have a big hiring push in effect. But people close they don't lose interest because they don't want to leave their friends, family, etc for an opportunity to improve their entire situation. While I see men of other races jumping on all these jobs gladly. Some people just expect things to be given to them and that's why they're in the position they're in still waiting and blaming everyone else because it's not happening.

I'm here on the behalf of the non college educated dumb ass negros that u speak of.

nikka we don't give a fck bout this sht.
This is just a stupid game y'all choose to be involved in.
U don't know what ur talking about just as much as we wouldn't know what's really going on.

So keep playing ur lil "voting" game with this country that has kept their foot up ur ass and continues to keep their foot up everyone's ass.

Y'all want to be craccaz so bad.
playing lil cracca reindeer games and sht and trying to get the real black folks to join in.
The only people u gonna get is the dumbest of nikkaz that are easily manipulated to participate in some sht they really do give a fck about cause their favorite celebrity told them to.

For real we need to start separating ourselves from u indoctrinated blacks.
Who use the struggle of the real nikka as their crutch...but also secretly hate nikkaz.

U always wished u had what "massa" had. U wanna talk like him, think like him, play his games.
Have His bytch, his house... wished u had kids that look like his etc.
But us nikkaz wanted to chop that MFers head off and burn all his sht to the ground.

The world don't hate the black man. The black man is docile and compliant.
The world hates the nikka. Because they fear the nikka..he is uncontrollable. We see through their BS and don't have time for it

You're going to need a large educated coalition with a reasonable understanding of civics to achieve black only tangibles when the odds are that stacked against you.
Bullshyt. Politicians know how to get votes. If they want these votes, they'll act accordingly. If not, they'll continue to lose.

I get the feeling a lot of yall ain't never negotiated shyt.

Thats what will always confuse me its the candidates job to get people to vote for them not the other way around. This whole just vote just to vote shyt is gonna continue to get people to stay home. How many "This is the most important election or your rights are on the line" are we gonna have with the candidates making a bare minimum effort cause they think they got it in the bag already.

No matter who they vote for we need to find a way to get these people more politically engaged.

I fear that ship done sailed fam. Best bet is to get with like minded black folk and keep it movin.

If you can do something I guess, try and get them to vote for local shyt at least. National is a joke.

To be honest, people dont like listening to actual leaders because they feel insecure and want to be treated as equals in the discourse, when they haven’t really invested the equity into commanding the microphone they think they deserve so I really dont think this will work.

There is a hierarchy in which people like Tariq Nasheed should never be given credibility to speak on black politics but here we are.

the politicians you want, wont win by appealing to what you specifically want. And I mean your views in particular.
