Huge Mobb Fan. I literally own all of thier albums including noyd and infamous mobb albums. They are my Favorite Group besides Wu. And although I loved this album, I can't put it on classic status with the three albums before it because it has 2 of the absolute worst Mobb Deep Songs in their entire catalog. Burn and Hey Luv....Both songs would have been good for many other artists, but they sounded wack coming from Mobb Deep because they didn't fit their style or the rest of the album.

EDIT: Handcuffs was terrible as well.

Pigeonhole artist's creativity brehs :jawalrus:

Thought it was pretty damn wack. :manny:

If this was the debut album of another group it would be an easy 4.0, maybe even 4.5. But after "The Infamous", "Hell On Earth" and "Murda Muzik"....nah. It's kinda terrible if we're being honest. I'd even go as far as to say "Murda Muzik" definitely ain't on the level of the other 2 albums, either. Not that it's wack or anything but you can see how they ended up with "Infamy" after that album.

It was an afterthought of a rushed, messy, and garbage album...'Get Away' stood out immediatley, from the moment it was heard, but the rest is a disaster, of desperate Jay disses and undercooked commercial appeals, this was also the first full album of Prodigy's spoken word style, and it didn't sit well with most...I'll take 'Amerikaz Nightmare' over this anyday, better production, more focused, and Havoc really came into a style of his own by then, and had a better musical backdrop..I bet it does have some tolerable tracks in retrospect, but it's undeniably their worst album, and at the time, was a joke, everyone was kinda embarrassed Mobb Deep went out like that, in light of their recent humiliations at Summer Jam.

Production on this and Amerikkaz Nightmare was impeccable, but deterioration of P was apparent:beli:
