Again I ask where will Africa get it’s development from? Because the Africans right now do not have the know how or technology to develop their own infrastructure. At the end of the day the Chinese or anybody who is doing buisness in Africa is going to do it for free. China needs minerals,natural resources which Africa has. Africa needs money,technology, development, and infrastructure which the Chinese has. Unfortunately that is the reality of the world. Cut off the Chinese where will the Africans be able to go from a preindustrial society to developing continent?

It’s not in Europe or the US interest to see Africa developed. They want Africa to be weak,backward and dependent on the foreign aid drug. If Africa were to be fully developed infant mortality will drop and life expectancy would skyrocket. What that equal? A massive population boom. The average age on the continent is 25. It’s young and dynamic. When they reach full development the population in Africa will be 4-5 billion meanwhile Europe’s population will decline from 750 million to 720 million in 50 years. This why there is this push from the West to contain Africa’s population. They fear that. When you have a modern, rich, developed continent that equals power. You have to think the long game. The Euro cacs fear the day Africa is developed outside of the parameters of the West by China. You have to play the long to end the power of these cacs.

Wrong again,they have tech and know how. That's why Obama bombed Libya and assassinated Ghadafi.

Silly. African leaders just need to learn a thing called "leverage" then they won't get bodied like Zambia and be in debt to them. The Tanzania and Ethiopian government are doing it the correct way. Africa can get infrastructure without China's aid but its gonna be very hard and at a very, very slow rate(we'll be at old age). China is the only strong capital African countries have for infrastructure. The USA/West? Good luck with that as they are trying Africom(while at the same time saying China is colonizing Africa). And I know people aren't mentioning Russia(lol) who has a economy as small as Spain.

Once again its all about leverage and SMART deals. When African nations develop their infrastructure thats when they can give China the finger and finally bush them, like how China did the USA. I agree with @ZoeGod

What you’re saying is the equivalent of “why should I stop taking Meth if I’m going to have to go through a horrible withdrawal period that is going make me feel bad”. You will never ween yourself off the G7 nations, IMF, World Bank, World Development Bank, non-African hegemony and etc if you don’t stop sucking off its tit.

African nations will never prosper if it allows its resources to be pillaged for pennies on the dollar. You can’t give a person the milk for free or a discounted rate and then turn around and tell them they have to buy the cow. African nations have to unite and force these non-African nations to come to the tables as equals and not this paternalistic nature we have now.

African nations need to address the world knowing they are the ones that have the gold that others seek and they need to set the terms of any trade deals. They don’t need to run and chase subjugation loans when they have the most valuable resources on the planet. I’m not gonna take a $50 Million loan for you to come take my copper...you’re gonna give me 50 million and I’m gonna give you 50 million dollars worth of Copper at market rate and we gon call it a day. That’s how the relationship needs to be and I feel that it’ll never happen if we keep taking subjugation loan.
