We definitely have to acknowledge the effort to push Black talent in the WWE right now

nikkas being crabby and c00n-y as they always are. We live in capitalist society. Businesses and corporations always pander. That's how they make money. White people were fine with being pandered to for decades, til they start shifting the focus elsewhere. It's funny tho. When we are not represented, it's a problem, "they hate Black people!" :hula:When we do get shine, it's a problem, "they're pandering!". No shyt. Who the hell cares? Why is it only us who see this as a bad thing lol? Just sit back, and be happy for all these talented Black people finally getting opportunities and taking center stage.
Imagine Latinos being like nah they pandering :hhh: when the Mexican and Rican stars get pushes. Same with Asians and their wrestlers lol.

One thing that's also being left out here is that there's far MORE black talent than there's ever been. Not just in the E but all of wrestling for that matter. And most of them credit their interest in becoming wrestlers to the black wrestlers who were there before them. So sure, if ya wanna say it's just "pandering" or whatever the buzzword is, cool. But let's also acknowledge that the amount of amazing black talent also plays into it more than it would have in the 70s, 80s, or even 90s. Back then, you maybe saw 4 or 5 black dudes in a company, if that... and all of them weren't necessarily top of the card dudes, which makes the number even lower. It wasn't like a ton of undeniably dope MFs like it is now, and most of the dope MFs who were around got good pushes. Of course there's that age-old mindset that we can't just be good, we gotta be great and that definitely played into it as well (Rocky Johnson even told his son this- you know, the guy nikkas say "doesn't count"). But as far as how things have been in WWE over these last 5-6 years, I feel it's well deserved. I'm def not about to sit here and complain now that the shyt nikkas always wanted to see happen is actually happening.

This topic is always funny because people will say "I'm still not watching just bc Vince's pandering, it ain't genuine!!"

So your solution to the decades long problem that you supposedly cared about the whole time is to double down and continue watching all white cards while not calling them out with the same ferociousness that you call out WWE's supposed pandering

Wrestling fans:pachaha:

This part... it's like... so you felt like this should've been Ahmed Johnson or Bad News Brown or Tony Atlas or Faarooq or whoever... but now that it actually IS Lashley or Big E, you gonna be mad anyway... why...

Sasha Banks is back in a pivotal centerpiece role

Becky Lynch returns after giving birth to turn heel to showcase Bianca as the top face

Lashley has been a MVP candidate in the entire industry

Street Profits got a title shot

Big E is on top as WWE Champion years after they should of done it but it was done

I never thought we would see this on such a high level in the WWE.

Add Hit Row down in NXT

It the one thing they got over AEW and what could win them any precieved war if they just get creative

Yeah this purpetually racist company that has continually been about nothing but money is suddenly for the culture. Pushing black people to the top of the card isnt applause worthy. THAT is c00n shyt. We can be glad the people there got there because they deserve to be but ill be damned if as a black man i give the white man heaps of praise for doing the right thing. Or the benefit of the doubt when they have malignant shyt in their history.

It’s undeniable, but at the same time it has me worried like will they come back 10 years later and say that’s why business and creative was dry. I know we talk about the Booker T / Triple H angle a lot but his comments about him being champion during the death of the company were low blows and a burial within itself

Y’all sound like Cacs so when it’s white wrestlers getting everything it’s on merit but when black wrestlers get pushed it’s “diversity” or “Pandering” instead of acknowledging all the hard work black wrestlers been putting in to stand out :stopitslime:

Try not to bust y'all brains too much about this tho, seriously...

It's kinda wild to have an issue with something not happening, and then still have an issue when it does.

Weird how people wanted to see black people being used prominently but then once they do they criticize wwe for thinking they're pushing them to fit an agenda

Wwe can never win in some scenarios

Someone mentioned pandering but to who? They never cared about the black dollar before..when everyone was trying to use rap culture to their popularity, they didn't really take advantage even though Austin was like this white Tupac type im with the middle fingers and rebellious energy. You had the Wolfpack nwo screaming THUG LIFE..LOL

If you watched impacr for lashley.
Plus roh when jay lethal was chamo and ach was a stwple on tv.

This idea wwf is doing rhis or that is low wualiry bullsjit and a disengenuine bait and switch take as well.

Not to mention...
None of you goofies have written a rant.
for the lashley and now big e title changes as well.
Which is indicative of the low quality and lack of smarts in the wwe fan contingent.

You sposed to be no watch gang.
Yet you not even black or real enough.
to write a rant.

Speaks volumes about wtf y'all on.
after they brought back hogun.

You still support and can not see the forest for the trees.
Plua will not rant and give perspective or comparison on rhe best swerve in wrasslin history.
Versus the low quality carny take of the wwe using lash and mvp.

Y'all bogus and dishonest as all fukk.

Nobody is fooled.
