Bianca and Big E both smacked their head on the glass ceiling this past week, so they don’t get that much credit. I’m willing to wait and see

I dont believe anything this company does is genuine. But this is NOT because of AEW. This is because more and more market research shows that black buying power is the largest.

It actually has been that way for ages, and is recently being brought to light. When companies want to test a product they target the black demographics and poc first. We set trends and make shyt more popular than it really is :manny:

If you only cater to a certain selected group your company is gonna be a niche . Businesses are really seeing what they can do when they adapt to todays climate. Mostly every businesses nowadays try to promote diversity and target towards everybody. Most likely it's for the money, but I am just glad that it is finally happening and on a uptrend. The same way I don't apply to companies with a all white team is the same way I watch my entertainment :pachaha:

Basically

Cokeboy ain't fooling me with this shyt the same way Cawdy ain't fool me when he let that grown ass man dress up as a woman and claim to be the AEW Women's Champion in the name of LGBTQ wokeness

I will however, root for anyone in the New Day and the rest of the Black wrestlers in WWE off GP

Pointing out Vince's bullshyt does'nt diminish their success, if anything it's an indictment against Emperor McMahon and his refusal to get out of his own way
aew didnt really push the whole lgbtq thing too heavy with Nyla...Nyla was portrayed just like any woman and her trans status was neve even mentioned...i think thats better than "look everyone the first trans champ..we did it first!!"

now i'm not a fan of Nyla but i liked that they didnt go heavy handed with the promotion of it...she even has an action figure on the way and you'd think theyd promote that "first ever trans toy you can buy at target/walmart" but they arent.

When a black talent becomes the face of the company like the Rock was back in 2000, I'll believe you.

When a black talent is considered and treated as if he is "The Guy" in the WWE like Roman currently is -- or have Lashely wreck Roman's shyt for the Universal title --, I'll believe you.

Until then, I'll take current affairs for what they are and enjoy it while it lasts.

I hate how it's always "pandering" whenever somebody non-white is featured prominently.
Serious question: after years and years of the WWE and Vince obviously being racist and co-signing racist shyt what is more likely: a. They had a legitimate change of heart. B. They saw some demographic numbers, the political/cultural climate, and decided it would be a good look?

Semi-related: Outside of Sasha who is actually a star?
