rivers rodgers ryan are "arguable" ? :wtf:

especially rodgers ?
rodgers hasnt had the resume to back it up ? :wtf: :wtf:

rodgers has less career interceptions than cutler has had in his two worst years

cutler has more than twice ints rodgers has and less tds, and hes played more games.

So. Cal
That's actually a pretty good list they're more quarterbacks than I thought worthy of top 15 (Cam and Dalton didn't even come to mind). I bolded that ones that are no arguments they have the resume to back their claim, everyone else is arguable. Romo and Rodgers are sack prone too for holding onto the ball too long. Rodgers was sacked 5 times last night pretty much mirroring Cutler and Rodgers has the so called "pocket presence" and he still didn't throw it away or run and slide.

Rivers, Ryan, Smith(lol, really breh?) and Schaub and Newton (although Cam is just off his rookie season kind of unfair to include him but for arguments sake...) are solid qbs but don't come through in close games and haven't regularly produced numbers that warrant top 15 status. I mean they have one great year followed by mediocre success. Unlike Cutler.

This nikka actually thinks Rodgers and Cutler can make an argument for whose better between the two and he put Flacco as one of his bolded picks

*DEAD*

Man ya'll really need to keep that BS back at that other site. Rodgers is clearly a better QB and has the resume for it as well...Rodgers is top 3 easily...

Him putting up the same kind of #'s Cutler did his 1st year as a starter, yet having a top 10 defense that Cutler didn't, doesn't make him better

Cutler putting up worse numbers in his 5th year than his 1st is what makes him such a bum.

Where is the progress. QB's are supposed to progress, I don't see any of that in Cutler.

Woodson said it best, Jay is still Jay. The one we know and love.

I never argued his progression (or lack thereof).

That's my whole point, the people who speak of this high praise of Cutler, they never mention anything tangible to why he is good.

Oh some people mention potential, but glance over the 6 years where he has basically regressed.

What makes Cutler a top 15 QB. The only positive I hear about him is he has a big arm.

cutler has tons of talent tho. cutler under a coach wholl babysit him and chide him for his fits and a half-decent oline can be surgical. I dont think youll deny he has multimillion dollar arm.

its his decisions that are idiotic at times. and when hes bad, hes really bad.

The only thing I've argued in here is that he's better than Alex Smith (already discussed) and Andy Dalton (he of the barely 80 QB rating in his lone pro season).

Trust me that's not placing him in high regard lol

one thing Ill agree with lastemp tho is that for the niners right now, and the makeup of the team, alex is better than cutler to have. this team is built on not giving the ball up, special teams play and defense that can make stops.

cutler has been a turnover machine all his career. hes a better qb for a shytty defensive team which requires gun-slinging and gambling just to keep up with the opposition.

That's my thing, the #1 thing that people glance over when it comes to the QB.

Decision making is probably the biggest asset you can have as a QB, because if you're great at that, you`ll find the open man.

Cutler is one of the worst decision makers, straight from the Favre Throw it Up Academy

And that's all it comes down to, your QB does not have to be superman. Favre was superman and Holmgren hated his ass for it.

People never give Alex credit for what he does, that team defines the word symbiotic. Without Smith at the helm the team does not run that smoothly.

And I also think Alex is better on the run, more mobile and is 10x the decision maker Cutler is. All Cutler has on him is arm strength.

Led his team to the playoffs as a rookie, 20 td's 13 picks.

That's pretty damn good for a re-building team

For a guy widely regarded as positively as Andy Dalton, he sure hasn't played well in awhile. Dalton's stats in his last ten games: 191-of-338 (56.5 percent) for 2,180 yards (6.45 YPA), eight touchdowns, and ten interceptions. He has three more turnovers on fumbles lost. The overrated Bengals are 3-7 during that span with wins over the Rams, Browns, and Cardinals.

Dalton is overrated

I kinda agree with Emp though, been watching Cutler since his Denver days and dude has always shown flashes of greatness and there's no denying he has all the physical tools but for some reason it seems like dude just cannot put it together.

He definitely reminds me of Favre although he hasn't accomplished half of what :smugfavre: did

Part of me thinks it's because he's never been properly coached, needs someone who can put him in check because that fukker literally does not give a fukk about the throws he makes and remains unfazed by interceptions, he keeps slinging it like there's only Chicago players on the field

:stopitslime:

Stop it you're saying this becuz yall beat GB

Smith is a glorified game manager. Cutler still aint figured it out yet and maybe never will, but he's still top 15.

Lol Smith is more than a game manager, when his number gets called to do more than he can do it. I'd rather take a game manager than a QB that will throw the game away.

:comeon:

let's not act like the niners wouldn't be better off with at least 15 other QBs from the league than A. Smith....

That's his biggest problem, he literally doesn't give a fukk and people have put up with that shyt.

And I don't care what anyone says, a QB's mind is much more important than his arm, and Cutler is fukked in that department.
