I think they'd have to give up too many key pieces in the current lineup (probably Tucker and Pena) but it would be wild if they tried for Soto. Him and Alvarez in the same lineup would be like Manny and Ortiz all over again. They could afford to pay him too since Alvarez is on such a bargain contract.It's the biggest issue. Bregman looking good again but Yuli just keeps regressing. He's the weakest out of all the pieces and having him replaced with a decent hitter will do big tings
I don't know what Houston's prospect situation is like but if they could do it for just Tucker and a bunch of high level prospects while keeping Pena, they'd have to pull the trigger. Probably have to give up one of Garcia or Javier as well.
