:to: I've been a VERY Pro-David Ash supporter since he was True Freshman back in 2011. But with the return of these Concussion-type symptoms, I'm gonna have to give up on him. Hopefully Tyrone Swoopes or Jerrod Heard step-up.

Our swiss-cheese O-Line was the biggest weakness on offense during Mack's last years and showed zero improvement on Saturday, despite the huge splashy hire of Wickline. Now we clamoring over Swoopes or Heard to be the next sacrificial lamb?

Being stuck on Garrett Gilbert back in 2010 plus a soft azz oline killed this program since 2010. His lack of recruiting a back after jamal Charles costed him the 09 championship as well.

:snoop: Hate football season sometimes. Can't catch a break. On the other hand, maybe Swoopes steps up. The practice reports did say he was finally looking serviceable.

Any word on if Raulerson will start or will they go with one of the bigger, stronger youngins at center? The only thing Espinosa had on Raulerson was about 10lbs and 30+ starts. Raulerson could be better than Espinosa ever was by the end of the season.

i missed the game but i heard the defense was much improved, as expected. i also heard mykell thompson was actually making tackles:leon:

we might have the best d line in the big 12 and arguably in college...we're so deep there. as far as the offense, it starts with the o line. that's our biggest question mark.

Raulerson is going to start. Darius James is an enigma to me. They were making him sound like a 4 year starter out of high school but he's not even in the 2-deep.

I have confidence in Raulerson. Very mobile, strong and has been calling plays since the spring. Only knock is size.

His lack of size worries me against this grown man byu line.

Honestly the whole oline is a big problem for this program, has been for several years now. But I went back and watched bits and pieces of the game again, the oline was bad across the board. They're going to have to step up to help Swoopes b/c we're not throwing 40 times with him.

I think Raulerson will be fine once he get some reps under his belt. Perkins was really the only decent OL on Saturday. Estelle has the potential but the kid is just lazy. I think James should be playing in front of Doyle though.

Wickline has only been here half a year brehs and these aren't his guys. Hard to blame him, he is trying to turn water into wine.

Man reading that article on 247 exposes how Mack ran this program in the ground mostly because he was lazy. Especially evaluating the qb position.

Poor David Ash.
Poor Charlie Strong.

Mack left the cupboard EMPTY on offense. Mack should return some of his salary for what the crap he left CS on the Oline and QB position. Plus we have very little speed on the outside. It's like this dude completely gave up the last few years. With Ash hurt we SHOULD be able to rely on our running game with Brown and Gray but our oline has JAGS everywhere. The is a reason they are about to take 6-7 olinemen in the next class.

:snoop: now Estelle and Harrison are likely gone. If we make it to a bowl game, Charlie Strong is the GOAT. Guess we will get to see what the youngins can do right away.
