A lot of work went on behind the scenes. Don't have time to expound now but I'll come back to this later. MM will be back for next season. Unless something changes we are losing someone on the 2 deep though, but I'll say the staff didn't lose anyone they weren't ok with losing. Getting Taaffe and Moore back for the defense is huge.

:blessed: Sark came tho and I’m surprised Moore came back he really came on late big time. Did you hear about the dept of education saying nil had to be equal for all sports that’s crazy

There are other people that need to be appreciated before Sark breh. Opposing teams came in hard for a number of our starters, mainly Simmons, Hill, Wingo, and MM. One school was seemingly willing to spend what I would assume was their entire NIL budget on MM. Some fundraising needed to happen and quickly because there are a couple of schools out there that can out spend us when it comes to NIL.

There are no billionaires funding the football team, one of the most notable ones won't even return phone calls, the other one has stated numerous times he ain't giving despite having a walk on family member on the team. We have a number of mid level rich guys giving but you have to worry about them becoming fatigued, a number of other schools are already experiencing such. I feel like this will always end up taking care of itself some how but the price of the brick continues to rise and in our current state we still have to worry about teams plucking select players with over the top offers. And if anyone truly needs to be thanked, thank the guys that let Sark ride in on their plane when he was hired. They've been doing serious work.

Yes I saw that on the longhorn subreddit and a school blowing a bag on MM is wild af these schools are reckless. Hopefully they won’t since we are actually winning
