What you smoking?
The easiest path is for FSU to lose. Then whatever happens in the SEC championship game doesn't matter. But you are right, if Bama wins that should put us in, however expect a lot of campaigning and handwringing over how Bama should get in and the SEC champ can't be left out. As I see it, if records are equal, if they put Bama in they have to put us in too.If Bama beats Georgia how does either team get in over us? I think we’re hyper focused on the FSU scenario but there is a path here too. I just see how you can put in a non-conference champion (Georgia) or a H2H loss (Bama) over us. @Numpsay am I tripping?
This is from the pdf on the cfb selection committee website. It specifies head-to-head when teams are similar. I know @Numpsay don't want to hear this, Quinn is defintely a better QB talent than Ehlinger was, but objectively Ehlinger was a better QB than Quinn has been so far. As we've seen the last couple games, Quinn still struggles with the tradtional dropback passing game & needs Sark to scheme up easy reads for him. Ehlinger very good in the dropback passing game & had a better command of the overall offense. IMO, UT would probably be a better RedZone offense if Ehlinger was the QB becuz of Ehlinger being a dual-threat QB & him being a way better dropback passer than Quinn.
