9-1 the hard way. Only positive is maybe the fan base will stop hating on Maalik. Got tired of all the shyt he was getting as if we were killing teams before he had his two starts.

At the end of the day 9-1 is 9-1. Just gotta keep winning. Next week is going to be tough though. We never play well in Ames.
I have no trust in Baxter. Hopefully they finally let Blue get some touches. Dude is explosive.
Blue is fugazi. He doesn’t like contact. He will bust one in clean up time but he’s not a bell cow or anything close to that imo.
But yeah, I’ve been underwhelmed by Baxter too.
I think im ready for a coaching change on the defensive side of the ball. If not PK then one or both of the secondary coaches.

Baxter best days are ahead of him. You de the flashes. I think he’s getting better as the season goes along.
I didn't think this is fair assessment of Blue. Kid runs hard, and I think would be better at getting those tough yards than Baxter right now. Baxter is still running tentative behind the LOS.
I hope we can flip Myles Davis. We need a Converse Judson dawg on the squad.
I'd prefer we get Bryce Anderson to transfer but I'd take Myles Davis to. We desperately need a good safety to pair with Derek Williams next year.
Horns RB Brooks has torn ACL, out for season
Texas running back Jonathon Brooks, who ranks sixth in the FBS with 1,139 rushing yards and has 10 touchdowns, will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL.
He's definitely a first round pick talent wise. I think he should go to the NFL, and get drafted by the Cowboys. We can redshirt him.
IT guys have changed their tune on Ewers. They're now saying he might come back next year. I wonder how that affects Arch.
Also, they're saying Brooks will probably come back now too.
IT guys have been extremely bullish on Ewers leaving to the NFL after this season. I know that has always been Ewers timeline, but it never made since to me with this being a QB heavy draft and the fact that his game still needs to improve.

Ewers comes back and Murphy likely transfers, I'd expect Arch to stay. Brooks probably has to come back but we'll likely miss most of, if not all of next year if it's an ACL injury. Things are looking up on Neyor returning too. I'd like Byron Murphy back too but that's probably unlikely.
