Barring something major happening Gary Patterson will be a part of the football program. In what capacity idk.
If true, than you'll have 2 former GAs on Charlie Strong's UT staff who'll be BIg 12 OCs next season. Football Scoop is reporting that Brent Venables is who OU will hire as Head Coach & he'll hire Jeff Lebby, Lane Kiffen's OC at Ole Miss, as his OC. Lebby is from the Briles tree, so OU will be bringing back the Veer & Shoot offense back to the Big 12.

Nahlin says Tech will hire Zach Kittleyas OC, who was a GA & assistant QB coach under Kliff Kingsbury when Patrick Mahomes was there.
Also about a month ago, a poster on IT said UT would rehire Riley Dodge, Ewers' H.S. head coach, as an Analyst or some other position.

I think it’s unlikely Gary Patterson will take an on-field role at Texas. Analyst is more likely.
There was some thought if OU kept Stoops on for a bridge year, Patterson would be his DC.
While that‘s not what many of you want to hear, IT does believe Texas has a big development up its sleeve to address the defense. Working on that now.

Feeling better about Ewers today. Cristobal jumping to Miami hopefully lands us one of Banks/Williams. But USC is now a real threat for Devin Campbell.

Yea I thought we would see more action throughout this week. Getting real close to ESD and being left at the alter. Reshaping this roster this offseason is going to define Sark's tenure here.

Yeah the fan base is going to get antsy and vocal if they don't lock up Ewers and a few big names by December 15th. Will only get worse if Perkins, Dewberry and Harris also sign with A&M.
He'll be on campus this weekend.
