I don't see Casey being the guy next season unless he takes a big step like VY did in '05, Colt in '08, or Ehlinger in '18.I'd like to see how this offense would look like if Sark had convinced Ehlinger to stay 1 more season. @dtownreppin214 @Numpsay
Stoops and Pruitt. Had been known Stoops was hired, then all of a sudden it didn't really happen after several alumni objected. Same with Pruitt. Shine BS shirt UT can't hire someone with accusation of violations, but we can hire Bo Davis? Fukk outta here. Been to enough UT shyt too know who run shyt. Like I said, we ain't no football school. Sad to see it.

We do not have the second most talented roster in the league. Recruit rankings don't mean shyt once the players get to campus. None of these players were developed.
Ehlinger wouldn't really fit in this offense. No where near accurate enough on down the field throws. Casey isn't all world but I think he is good enough if we can improve the OL.
@Lucky_Lefty I think Card is gone if he doesn't get another shot this year.
@rantanamo Stoops would have been a very bad hire. Dudes reputation is shyt. Too much uncertainty regarding Pruitt who is likely to end up with a show cause. Davis show cause had expired.

I was watching a lot of highlights of the last 3 seasons earlier this months & the thing I noticed is that even though we often shytted on Ehlinger, UT was always like the 2nd best offense in the conference (with OU being #1) in those 3 seasons averaging like 44+ ppg. I think we definitely win the Baylor game, Okie State game, & maybe even the OU game this year if Ehlinger was the QB in Sark's offense.
Also what have Casey & Hudson done in the passing game this season, that Ehlinger couldn't do?
Ehlinger played in a different offense behind a better OL. Ehlinger in his career here at UT could not consistently make the reads or down field passes that is required in this offense. How many times did we see him skip passes to Eagles or under throw Collin. The Herman offense worked for him because that offense is all about the QB. Part of the reason we lack adequate skill players now is because no one wanted to come play in that offense. And last I checked the only offense better than us in this conference according to statistics is OU. So we are still in the same place.
