Initial thoughts, neither qb is standing out but I think Thompson wins the starting spot in fall camp based off his ability to use his legs and experience.

This defense is going to be nice! Missing some key guys and still giving the offenses fits.

Bijan is going to be in the Heisman discussion.

Wr's need to make some plays. Hopefully Xavier Worthy brings some explosiveness to the WR group.

O-line looks much improved.

Yea WRs is the position I am most concerned about. None of them do anything really great. Maybe once Jake Smith returns it'll help. I think Casey wins the job eventually, Card still seems to get happy feet when the pocket breaks down.

@lightskin jermaine @dtownreppin214 @Spade @3rd Koast Kang @Dr. Narcisse @satam55

I know they are in different classes, but I am 99% sure they will go to different schools.

But which QB would you guys prefer '22 Ewers, or '23 Manning

I think Ewers makes a bigger splash in Texas, Manning does nationally, like Simms did.

And I am not asking this for no reason brehs :patrice:

And if you think OSU isn't nervous.....

Ohio State reaches out to Landon Samson
Ohio State assistant coach Brian Hartline reached out to Southlake Carroll wide receiver Landon Samson on Tuesday, and the Buckeyes

“Coach Hartline called me last night,” Samson told @justin Wells. “They really liked my film and feel like they need a wide receiver like me. They’d like me to visit with Quinn (Ewers) in June, and want to see me up close.”

Samson currently has offers from Baylor, SMU, Duke, Colorado, Utah and Nebraska among others. IT believes Samson is one of the more under recruited prospects in the state. He has consistently timed 4.5 or better in testing at Southlake Carroll, and has the ability to COD and will make tough catches in heavy traffic.

Give me Ewers. Better prospect, in-state kid, probably gets Stewart back in the fold.

Plus, tbh with you guys I expect Sark first year to be a bit of a struggle bc of the schedule. Therefore it’d be nice to have a leader in’22 to keep the class together.

This is the way I'm leaning as well, Ewers arm talent is unmatched. But I'm good with either one, and I think that Manning name will have major pull. Also Stewart is likely going to the biggest bag regardless of QB.

If a couple of WRs can breakout I think we'll be fine. But watching the Spring Game none of them really stand out. Worthy might be able to come in and get immediate playing time.
