Surly and OB are now all in. And I still bet Herman is coaching for his job if they collapse. Tbh, he has to win the conference this year. Maybe an appearances would appease some folks but if they miss it entirely, all bets are off.

They should have just stop playing it. This was only ever going to result in division among the team. You can't go back to forcing the players to stay on the field and sing it. The only option is just to do away with it and find a suitable replacement. This half measure isn't going to work. And as far as my personal opinion, fukk the eyes, the fan base reacting to the players this way is part of the entire issue. fukk that song.

What fukked Texas up is when Charlie said no to Kyler Murray.
Would have brought in more big time recruits for Herman. Sam wouldnt have developed so many bad habits by playing early. He would be a RS JR that wasnt beat up from 4 years of being a bowling ball.
Charlie got prideful as hell that Kyler said no a year earlier and it fukked Texas. Too worried about hurting Shane's feelings.

Breh when Kyler was transferring Texas was the #1 school on his list. He wanted to come and Charlie told him no thats why he went to OU.
Charlie told him no because he wanted to be guaranteed the starting position. Did not want to sit behind Shane. Went to OU because he'd only sit one year behind Mayfield.

From what I saw today, I think we lose at least 2 more games this year. Probably 3.
A compromise of some sort is going to have to come about. I thought we were already there by letting the players leave the field, but that has enraged the fanbase. Orangebloods is apoplectic about it and I think this segment of the fanbase is going to start voicing their displeasure with their wallets. That's problematic for CDC considering the suites he has to sell in the SEZ. Things are about to get ugly the rest of the way with decommits and more losses on the horizon (ISU, KSU, probably Baylor or Oklahoma State). CDC is going to have to make a move on Herman now. This can't continue or shyt is going to get more toxic.

Anyways I'm glad he didn't come here. He would have ruined like every other top athlete that comes to Austin. The culture here stinks. Looking forward to seeing Kyler back in Dallas in a few weeks.
