I was just thinking about this brehs. Herman tries to hard to be hip. Maybe that works at a school like Houston and the type of guys you recruit there but at Texas that shyt won't cut it. I white man walks in with a grill to recruit my son to play football and I doubt he makes it pass the front door. If he has kept this same persona I can see it coming across as fake to a lot of these families. The pics from Chaissons home visit or cringe worthy now. Bet they all thought Tom was just a silly (not in a good way) man.

All in all I think this job is bigger than Herman thought it was. Hopefully he adjust or we'll be doing this again in 2-3 years.

Herman has been on a roll lately. Love how he's expanded the support staff, quickly pushed for facilities upgrades, and the revamped social media presence. That junior day got rave reviews from everyone. Recruiting is looking really good for '18.
