Nah .... far from it... I'm just skeptical how how much Herman is hyped upThat means you think it's a players issue.....
I'm watching the UH v Navy game right now to get an idea... we'll see assuming Charlie is fired and Herman is hired

Tell me why I just got on to twitter and the PAWG Orangebloods inten/YouTube host is going at it with Tariq Nasheed over Nate Parker:
this defense is unwatchable.
you simply can't win, week in and week out with a defense as bad as that.
season over.
They gave up a 300 yard passer, a 200 yard receiver, and a 200 yard rusher. Fifth time in the history of college football this has happened. Mediocrity is acceptable to some people. Excuses will be made. But he is a defensive guru and this is what he is doing.this defense is unwatchable.

@*DalMem* Stop trolling bruh
I have debated how much I should or shouldn’t share about what all I was told went on in said meeting. So here’s what I feel comfortable sharing.
Coach Strong got the entire team together, coaches included, and acknowledged some of the rumors about his status as the future coach at the University of Texas. He then opened the floor for a one-time, say what you want meeting where players could express their honest thoughts to others.
The first person to stand up and speak, I’m told, was D’Onta Foreman. Foreman didn’t mince words. He spoke about how hard he has worked in the off-season and how hard he works everyday…how much effort he gives and how much he gives to the team only to see that effort squandered by the lack of effort from others. He specifically called out the defense and named a particular defensive player who he said should be making plays and leading the defense but currently isn’t. He also called out an entire group of the defense and their position coach. I’m told given the status of Foreman on the team, people, including said position coach, listened.
Interestingly, I was told that freshman defensive lineman, Andrew Fitzgerald spoke. Source said that Fitzgerald said he felt he should be playing and said he doesn’t feel the effort from the pass rushers is there. Source said Fitzgerald emphasized that getting to the quarterback is about fight and it’s about effort and if you don’t have those two things you’re not going to get to the quarterback.
Buechele talked about receivers jogging coming out of their routes and echoed what others said about a lack of complete effort from everyone. I’m told Buechele essentially said, “we are putting up points and yards but we could be putting up so many more points and so many more yards if we were giving more effort.”
Freshman DL, Malcolm Roach also spoke passionately about his background and his desire to be successful. He spoke about his hunger and how he felt there were too many guys on the team that aren’t hungry. I’m told he even referenced past Texas championship level teams saying (quoting the sources expression of Roach’s words), “half of y’all are just here and wondering why we aren’t back…guys that used to play here were hungry!”
I hope to hear more about the meeting. I will note that while the meeting was intense, in my estimation it was probably the right move. Strong knows he’s coaching for his life and as you’ve heard Nick Saban and other championship coaches say often, a great team is a player led team. Peer pressure is a powerful thing. Whether this meeting has any effect on how the team performs moving forward remains to be seen but with the Horns dropping the last three games, it certainly can’t hurt. – (Super K)
