The fukk is this fake outrage bullshyt we have going on here? The officer said dude hit him with his car. We don't know whether that's true or not, so we can't rage off of that.
Which leaves the vid..
...dude was clearly resisting until he was on his stomach and both hands were behind his back, at which time it becomes a little harder to see if there was any more resistance or not due to the restricted movement of the brother...but EITHER way there still was ZERO excessive force used.
You see, this is the dumb shyt right here that will start to surface, and begin to dillute the potency of our REAL and LEGIT outcries/concerns(mike, eric, freddie).
This whole story is just a pitiful attempt to garner faux outrage and it's a shame.
I see where you are coming from (and I'm not going to get into a finger pointing contest immaturely) but I think what this shows is a spotlight on how we are treated on a daily basis. I understand that it is word against word (cops lie yes...because people lie...cops are the ones sworn to the higher standard though) until we see the full video so I won't debate that.
"Resisting Arrest" is a BS charge (in many cases not all) that the cops like to throw out there to tack on charges. This is just a snapshot that goes on in our communities. I think when you say this stop is "dumb" and the other ones are "real" is misguided as well. GRANTED death is a much more serious issue than a traffic violation or racial profiling, but when an officer is sworn in, if that officer begins to misuse their "power" in ANY form, it's a big deal. They should not be profiling us, harassing us, adding false charges, OR killing us. Just because one is less severe does not mean that we shouldn't pay notice.
The more stuff that surfaces the better, not the worst. We need wholesale policing policy changes from the smallest infractions to the largest. If cops aren't going to let you or I slide on a misdemeanor, why should we let them slide?
